I have been investing in real estate for the past 15 years and one thing I can tell you is that owning a piece of something 'real' is the way to go! Sure you can buy stocks and be one of 5 million other 'shareholders' of a company trading at 50 times it's earnings but why take those kind of chances when you can actually own something 'real'. The best real estate investing advice I ever received was when a great Canadian Real Estate Agent told me to look beyond my borders (I live in the USA), there are lots of great real estate investment properties around the world, you just have to take the time to do some research. |
